Supporting Relationships in All Their Forms
I work with individuals and couples who are navigating their relationships—with themselves, their partners, their families, and their communities. Whether you're in a traditional relationship or exploring alternative relationship structures, I create a warm, knowledgeable, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.
At Her Hope Behavioral Health, I specialize in supporting people who often struggle to find therapists who truly understand their experiences. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work with LGBTQ+, polyamorous, and kink communities, and I also help straight and monogamous couples build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
How I Work
As a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, I take a personalized and integrative approach to therapy. Our sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals. I draw from emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, and sex therapy-informed practices to create a safe and collaborative environment focused on your healing and growth.
If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like communication just isn't flowing in your relationships, you're not alone. My goal is to support you in finding more ease, joy, and authentic connection in your life.
I'd be honored to work with you.
Who I Work With
-
I see couples and individuals who are dealing with relationship communication challenges—those moments when you're trying to share feelings that feel stuck in your body, or when you keep finding yourselves in the same behavioral loops that leave you feeling frustrated and disconnected. I work with partners navigating the complexities of ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and kink-aware relationship dynamics, as well as those exploring their LGBTQ+ identities.
-
Becoming a parent changes everything—your relationship with your partner, your sense of identity, your understanding of intimacy, and even how you relate to your own body. I work with parents who are navigating these profound shifts. Maybe you're struggling to maintain connection with your partner while caring for young children. Maybe you're rediscovering who you are beyond being "mom" or "dad." Maybe you're figuring out how to balance companionship, partnership, and parenthood all at once. Whether you're adjusting to life with a newborn, managing the chaos of multiple kids, or navigating parenting older children, I help you reconnect with yourself and your partner as you move through these transitions.
-
Living with ADHD in a neurotypical world is exhausting. I understand the unique challenges that come with managing an ADHD brain—the overwhelm of daily tasks that seem simple to everyone else, the strain it puts on relationships when you're constantly feeling behind or misunderstood, the emotional dysregulation that can leave you feeling out of control, and the shame that builds up over years of being told you're "too much" or "not enough." I work with adults who are navigating ADHD in their relationships, careers, and daily lives. Together, we'll develop strategies that actually work for how your brain functions, improve communication with partners and family members who may not understand ADHD, and help you build systems that support you rather than fighting against how you're wired.
